[Word] Date / Calendar Controls

Imaging your remembering that - it was for me!!!  Thanks for this info.  Anyway, I needed it for Word at that time but I did find a really good explanation for the using it in Excel with two .zip files you can download - see the link below:

A while back there was a discussion about Date / Calendar controls.  This article:

answers a lot of questions (all?) about how to use them, including a link to a tip on how to :re-activate" or Register an ActiveX control that is not working, a technique I usually forget about.  Although the tip is written for Excel, I tried it in Word 2003 and 2007, and it worked (when you follow all of the steps all of the way through ;),  you have to exit design mode before it will work).

The key thing I noticed is keep looking through the list of controls, my installation had different control names than the ones pictured (who knows why).
