[Word] Document statistics at the end of the file

Hi Ed Weber,
I would like to know whther this takes care of blank lines.
I mean...if there any blanks issued, for purposes of spacing (or what ever), without text....such lines should not be counted.
If this macro can not do that ....is it possible to modify to do it

  I can think of several ways to automate this, with or without fields.  One approach is in the attached macro, which does not use fields.  Simply run the macro and the statistics will be placed at the end of the document.  If the document is changed, run the macro again and the statistics will be updated.  If you add text to the document below the statistics line, the statistics line will be moved to the end of the document when the data is updated.

    I am using WORD 2007
    At the end of a WORD document I want to add the following line
    No of pages    No of lines  No of words   No of characters words.


    For example
    Pages 2    Lines 78   Words   358    Characters   4584
    Is it possible to do it manually or a macro has to be written (and deployed)
    Any help would be appreciated
