  I'll be performing at the Awards Event of the 8th Annual Artists Festival
(produced by Artists for a Better World) this coming Saturday evening,
October 11th, from 7:00-7:30 p.m., in the Pavilion at Celebrity Centre
International (5930 Franklin Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90028, tel.
323-960-3100).  This awards event is incredibly inspiring and will also
feature performances by other artists.  The ticket price is $10.

  JoJo Zawawi is a self-taught improvisational classical and jazz pianist
and composer. She composes all her own music, and at live concerts, rather
than playing music already written, she improvises all new pieces --
sometimes based on made-up melodies solicited from the audience.
