I just came across this article about a kinda cool feature I was not
aware of at all.  It is a simple calculator embedded in Word,
including 2007, since the early verions of Word.  It can do simple
arithmetic on numbers that are embedded in text so that you don't have
to retype them into an external calculator.

<rant>
This sort of thing is one of the reasons that Win application code
bloats.  Here is a feature that was built into the app long ago,
superceded later by other apps (ie the standalone calculators).  Now
it is still there, undocumented and as a result unused except by
"old-timer experts" and taking up space (DASD and RAM)
